Brkit
Privacy Policy
1. Scope and purposes
This policy covers Brkit desktop applications for macOS and Windows and brkit.app. Editing and rendering can take place on your device. Account authentication, subscriptions, cloud storage/collaboration, AI requests, support and social connections communicate with external services; using local project files does not mean that no account or service data is processed. Data is used for the requested feature, billing, security, support, and the improvement statistics described below.
2. Data and collection methods
- Account: email, account ID, display name/photo where set, authentication/session and security information. Social sign-in providers also process the authentication you authorize. Infrastructure providers may process connection metadata such as IP address, access time and security logs during service requests.
- Cloud: projects, media, collaboration/review comments and sharing information you choose to save or share. Public links expose the selected material to their intended viewers; do not publish confidential material unintentionally.
- AI: prompts, attached text/images, video frames, audio and relevant editing context needed for the requested task; service records include request status, usage and credit charges. Requests can pass through Brkit's server to an external provider.
- Billing: plan, subscription status, customer/subscription/transaction identifiers, credit balance and transaction/use records. Paddle handles payment details; Brkit does not receive or store your full card number.
- Support: submitted messages and attachments. The website loads Channel Talk on page load; on website sign-in it can pass an account identifier and email to identify your support profile. The widget may process visitor/browser data under its policy.
- Marketing and feedback: newsletter email, consent time, language/campaign information and opt-out record; ratings/comments you submit linked to your account. Marketing requires the separate subscription choice.
- Website storage: language preference, a random pseudonymous visitor ID and campaign parameters; first-party usage events are separate from payment/support provider processing. These identifiers are not a guarantee of irreversible anonymity.
Faces and voices are not automatically sensitive biometric identification data solely because they appear in a file. Content may nevertheless contain sensitive or third-party personal data. Use content you are authorized to process. Running an AI feature alone is not deemed separate consent to sensitive-data processing or international transfer where such consent is required.
3. Google/YouTube data and Limited Use
Direct desktop upload requests youtube.upload and sends a locally rendered video and its upload metadata directly to Google. The current macOS direct-upload refresh token is stored in Keychain. Older releases may have used a local file; storage differs by platform/version. Server-connected channel/publishing uses youtube.upload, youtube.readonly for channel identification, and youtube.force-ssl for video deletion where used. Server connections store encrypted access/refresh tokens, channel ID/name, scope and connection status. Scheduled video and metadata may be held in cloud storage for publishing.
Google API data is used for the connected-channel, upload and publishing actions you request, not advertising, resale or generalized AI-model training. Human access is limited to permitted purposes such as your explicit consent, necessary security/legal handling or permitted internal operations. The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Disconnect the relevant Brkit connection and cancel pending schedules as applicable. Revoke Google access at Google account permissions. Uninstalling alone is not revocation and does not remove server connections. Already-published videos must be managed in YouTube Studio. See the Google API notice.
4. Retention
- Account/cloud data: for the account and chosen storage use, then removed on deletion subject to mandatory retention and any processing needed to complete deletion.
- Anonymous-install quality events: 1 year. Account-linked editing decisions, events and outcomes: 1 year, or account deletion. Project statistics/preferences may persist while the account/project exists.
- AI/provider data: for the requested processing and under the applicable provider's API terms, retention settings and deletion rules. This policy does not promise zero retention or no provider-side training across every model.
- Marketing: until withdrawal/deletion request; a suppression record may remain to prevent further sending. Submitted feedback is removed with account deletion.
- Payments, complaints and security records: where required, retained for the applicable legal or justified operational period, separate from ordinary editing content. External providers' legal records can survive deletion of a Brkit account.

5. Local files and optional improvement statistics
Local projects and media remain on your device unless you request a feature that transfers them. macOS direct-upload tokens use Keychain. Removing the app may leave user documents, caches or stored credentials; disconnect integrations and remove the relevant data separately.
Two separate improvement controls exist. "Share quality improvement data" sends a random install ID, app version and feature-use numbers, without media, transcript or caption text. "Share editing improvement data" sends account-linked project/clip IDs, editing decisions, event types, time ranges and numeric/boolean states. Both default to enabled in the current Mac app and can be turned off in settings. Turning editing sharing off stops collection/transmission and removes its unsent queue; it does not retroactively erase already-sent server records. Account deletion removes account-linked editing records. Model-training consent is separate and defaults to off. Brkit does not use your media content to train generalized AI models; this is not a promise about all external providers.
6. Processing partners
The configured services below support the relevant feature. Not every request goes to every provider. OpenRouter can route to model hosts, including Google, DeepSeek or Moonshot models; the actual host and handling depend on routing/configuration. Provider location is not a guarantee that all sub-processing occurs only in that country.

7. Sharing and user-directed publication
Information is processed by the partners needed for the requested services. If you connect publishing, your connection identifiers, authorized tokens, video and post metadata can be processed by Google/YouTube, TikTok or Meta/Instagram. Cloud shares, review links and public certificates may disclose the information you select to their audience. Brkit does not sell personal data. Legally required disclosure and user-authorized sharing are handled under applicable law; processing by partners is not described as "no third-party transfer".
8. International transfers
Authentication, cloud storage, AI and external publishing can transfer data outside Korea. The recipients, purposes and locations are in Sections 3 and 6–7. Transfers occur over the network when you sign in, save/share, invoke the feature, publish/schedule, or communicate with support; account/session or stored cloud data can remain overseas while the relevant service is used. Data includes the account, content, prompt, connection, billing or support information described in Section 2; retention is described in Section 4 and the provider policies linked above.
Where Korean law applies, contract-necessary entrusted processing/storage may rely on Article 28-8(1)(3) of PIPA only when its requirements are met. Other transfers must have an applicable legal basis, including separate consent where required. Clicking a feature is not automatically treated as that separate consent. Decline optional transfers by not using the relevant feature, disconnecting it, or requesting withdrawal/deletion through yocyo@yocyo.com. That feature may become unavailable; account authentication can still be required for local editing access. Contact us for the actual recipient, processing region, retention and refusal effect for your request.
9. Deletion
Data is removed when the purpose or retention period ends, subject to legally required retention. Account deletion and individual cloud-item deletion are available in the app. Local files you retain and content already published to external platforms are separate and must be deleted there. External processors and backups may have their own deletion cycles; instantaneous erasure of all copies is not promised.
10. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, export where applicable, or withdrawal of consent through yocyo@yocyo.com. We may verify identity and respond within the applicable legal time limits. Withdrawal affects future processing; it does not automatically unpublish external posts or erase legally retained records.
11. Children
Brkit is not intended for children under 14. If personal data is collected without required guardian consent, contact us so it can be addressed and deleted as applicable. External AI services may impose a higher minimum age; their applicable conditions must also be observed.
12. Security
External service connections use encrypted transport and authenticated access. Current macOS local credentials use OS-protected storage for the relevant integrations; server-connected social tokens are encrypted. Protect your device/account and sharing links. These measures do not guarantee that a security incident can never occur.

14. Complaints
You can also contact the competent data-protection authority or dispute-resolution body for your jurisdiction. Korean resources include KISA privacy reports and Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee.
15. Changes
Material changes to processing are notified before they take effect, with any legally required consent obtained separately. The October 11, 2026 corrections update descriptions of existing processing; they do not retroactively create consent.
16. Policy location

개인정보처리방침 (Brkit)
제1조 (적용 범위·처리 목적)
본 방침은 Brkit의 macOS·Windows 데스크톱 앱과 brkit.app에 적용됩니다. 편집·렌더링은 사용자 기기에서 수행할 수 있습니다. 계정 인증·구독 확인·클라우드 저장과 협업·AI 요청·상담·SNS 연결은 외부 서비스와 통신합니다. 로컬 프로젝트만 사용하더라도 계정·서비스 정보의 처리가 전혀 없는 것은 아닙니다. 요청한 기능 제공, 결제 운영, 보안, 상담 및 아래 설명한 개선 통계를 위해 정보를 처리합니다.
제2조 (항목·수집 방법)
- 계정: 이메일·계정 ID, 설정한 표시 이름·사진, 인증·세션·보안 정보. 소셜 로그인 제공자도 이용자가 승인한 인증 정보를 처리합니다. 서비스 요청 중 인프라 업체는 IP 주소·접속 시각·보안 로그 등 통신 정보를 처리할 수 있습니다.
- 클라우드: 저장·공유를 선택한 프로젝트·미디어, 협업·검토 의견과 공유 정보. 공개 링크는 선택한 정보를 해당 열람자에게 공개하므로 비공개 자료를 의도치 않게 공유하지 않도록 확인하십시오.
- AI: 요청에 필요한 프롬프트·첨부 텍스트와 이미지·영상 프레임·음성 및 편집 맥락. 서비스 운영 기록에는 요청 상태·사용량·크레딧 청구 내역이 포함됩니다. 요청은 Brkit 서버를 거쳐 외부 제공자에게 전달될 수 있습니다.
- 결제: 요금제·구독 상태, 고객·구독·거래 식별자, 크레딧 잔액·거래 및 사용 내역. 결제수단 정보는 Paddle이 처리하며 운영자는 카드 전체 번호를 수신·저장하지 않습니다.
- 상담: 이용자가 제출한 메시지·첨부파일. 사이트는 페이지가 열릴 때 채널톡을 로드하며, 사이트 로그인 시 상담 고객 식별을 위해 계정 식별자·이메일을 전달할 수 있습니다. 위젯은 자체 정책에 따라 방문자·브라우저 정보를 처리할 수 있습니다.
- 마케팅·후기: 뉴스레터 이메일·수신동의 시각·언어·캠페인 정보·수신거부 기록, 계정과 연결된 별점·의견. 광고성 메일은 별도의 수신 선택에 따릅니다.
- 사이트 저장 정보: 표시 언어, 무작위 가명 방문자 ID, 유입 캠페인 정보. 자체 이용 통계는 외부 결제·상담 업체의 처리와 구분되며, 무작위 ID만으로 완전한 익명성이 보장되는 것은 아닙니다.
파일에 얼굴·목소리가 있다는 이유만으로 모두 민감한 생체인식정보가 되는 것은 아닙니다. 다만 콘텐츠에 민감정보나 타인의 개인정보가 포함될 수 있으므로 적법하게 처리할 권한이 있는 자료를 사용하십시오. AI 기능 실행만으로 법령상 필요한 민감정보 처리·국외이전 별도 동의를 받은 것으로 간주하지 않습니다.
제3조 (Google·YouTube 데이터 및 Limited Use)
데스크톱 직접 업로드는 youtube.upload 권한을 요청하며 로컬에서 렌더링한 영상·업로드 메타데이터를 기기에서 Google로 직접 전송합니다. 현재 macOS 경로의 refresh token은 키체인에 저장합니다. 이전 버전은 로컬 파일을 사용했을 수 있으며 플랫폼·버전에 따라 저장 방식이 다릅니다. 서버 채널 연결·게시 경로는 youtube.upload, 채널 식별을 위한 youtube.readonly, 해당 기능의 영상 삭제를 위한 youtube.force-ssl을 요청합니다. 서버 연결에는 암호화된 access/refresh token, 채널 ID·이름, 권한·연결 상태가 저장됩니다. 예약 영상·메타데이터는 게시를 위해 클라우드에 보관될 수 있습니다.
Google API 데이터는 이용자가 요청한 채널 연결·업로드·게시 동작에 이용하며 광고·재판매·일반화된 AI 모델 학습에 사용하지 않습니다. 인적 접근은 명시적 동의, 필요한 보안·법적 처리 등 Google 정책에서 허용하는 목적에 한정합니다. Google API로 받은 정보의 이용은 Limited Use 요구사항을 포함한 Google API Services User Data Policy를 따릅니다.
Brkit에서 해당 연결을 해제하고 필요하면 진행 중인 예약을 취소하십시오. Google 계정 접근 권한에서도 권한을 회수할 수 있습니다. 앱 삭제만으로 권한 회수나 서버 연결 삭제가 이루어지지는 않습니다. 이미 게시한 영상은 YouTube Studio에서 관리해야 합니다. Google API 고지를 참고하십시오.
제4조 (보유 기간)
- 계정·클라우드 데이터: 계정 및 선택한 저장 이용 기간 동안 보관하고 삭제 시 파기합니다. 법정 보관 의무 및 삭제 완료에 필요한 처리는 예외로 합니다.
- 설치 ID 기반 품질 통계: 1년. 계정과 연결된 편집 판단·이벤트·결과 기록: 1년 또는 계정 삭제 시까지. 프로젝트 통계·설정은 계정·프로젝트 이용 기간 동안 유지될 수 있습니다.
- AI·외부 업체 처리 정보: 요청 처리와 해당 제공자의 API 약관·보관 설정·파기 기준에 따릅니다. 모든 모델에서 보관이 없거나 제공자 측 학습이 없다고 보장하지 않습니다.
- 마케팅: 수신 철회·삭제 요청 시까지. 재발송 방지를 위한 차단 기록은 남을 수 있습니다. 이용자가 제출한 후기는 계정 삭제 시 파기합니다.
- 결제·민원·보안 기록: 법령상 보존 의무 또는 정당한 운영상 필요가 있는 기간에 한하여 일반 편집 콘텐츠와 구분해 보관합니다. 외부 제공자의 법정 기록은 Brkit 계정 삭제 후에도 남을 수 있습니다.

제5조 (로컬 저장·선택적 개선 통계)
로컬 프로젝트와 미디어는 전송을 요청하는 기능을 사용하지 않는 한 기기에 남습니다. macOS 직접 업로드 토큰은 키체인을 사용합니다. 앱을 삭제해도 사용자 문서·캐시·자격증명이 남을 수 있으므로 연결 해제와 해당 데이터 삭제를 별도로 진행하십시오.
개선 통계에는 서로 다른 두 설정이 있습니다. “품질 개선 데이터 공유”는 무작위 설치 ID·앱 버전·기능 사용 수치를 보내며 미디어·전사·자막 본문은 보내지 않습니다. “편집 개선 데이터 공유”는 계정과 연결된 프로젝트·클립 ID, 편집 판단·이벤트 종류·시간 구간·숫자와 참/거짓 상태를 보냅니다. 현재 Mac 앱에서는 두 설정이 기본 켜짐이며 설정에서 끌 수 있습니다. 편집 데이터 공유를 끄면 수집·전송을 중단하고 미전송 대기 기록을 삭제하지만 이미 전송한 서버 기록을 소급 삭제하지는 않습니다. 계정 삭제 시 계정에 연결된 편집 기록을 삭제합니다. 모델 학습 동의는 별개이며 기본 꺼짐입니다. 운영자는 이용자의 미디어 콘텐츠를 일반화된 AI 모델 학습에 사용하지 않으며, 이는 모든 외부 제공자의 처리를 보증하는 의미는 아닙니다.
제6조 (처리 업체·위탁)
아래 구성된 업체가 해당 기능을 지원하며 모든 요청이 모든 업체에 전달되는 것은 아닙니다. OpenRouter는 Google·DeepSeek·Moonshot 등의 모델 호스트로 중계할 수 있으며 실제 호스트와 처리 방식은 중계·설정에 따라 달라집니다. 업체 소재지 표시는 모든 하위 처리가 그 국가에서만 이루어진다는 보장은 아닙니다.

제7조 (공유·이용자가 요청한 게시)
요청한 서비스를 제공하는 데 필요한 업체가 정보를 처리합니다. SNS 게시 연결을 사용하는 경우 연결 식별자·승인한 토큰·영상·게시 메타데이터가 Google·YouTube, TikTok, Meta·Instagram에서 처리될 수 있습니다. 클라우드 공유·검토 링크·공개 인증서는 선택한 정보를 해당 대상에게 공개할 수 있습니다. 운영자는 개인정보를 판매하지 않습니다. 법령상 요구된 제공과 이용자가 승인한 공유는 관계 법령에 따르며, 업체를 통한 처리를 “제3자 이전 없음”으로 설명하지 않습니다.
제8조 (국외이전)
계정 인증·클라우드 저장·AI·외부 게시 기능은 국내 밖으로 정보를 이전할 수 있습니다. 이전받는 업체·목적·소재지는 제3조 및 제6조·제7조를 참고하십시오. 로그인·저장·공유·기능 요청·게시 또는 예약·상담 시 네트워크로 이전하며, 계정·세션 정보와 저장한 클라우드 자료는 해당 서비스 이용 중 국외에 보관될 수 있습니다. 이전 항목은 제2조의 계정·콘텐츠·프롬프트·연결·결제·상담 정보이며, 보유 기간은 제4조 및 링크된 제공자 정책에 따릅니다.
대한민국 법이 적용되는 경우 계약 이행에 필요한 처리위탁·보관은 「개인정보 보호법」 제28조의8 제1항 제3호의 요건을 충족한 범위에서 그 근거를 적용할 수 있습니다. 다른 이전에는 별도 동의 등 해당하는 적법한 근거가 필요합니다. 기능 버튼을 눌렀다는 사실만으로 별도 동의를 받은 것으로 간주하지 않습니다. 선택 기능을 사용하지 않거나 연결 해제, yocyo@yocyo.com을 통한 철회·삭제 요청으로 해당 이전을 거부할 수 있습니다. 그 기능 이용은 제한될 수 있으며 로컬 편집 접근에도 계정 인증이 필요할 수 있습니다. 실제 수신 업체·처리 지역·보유 기간과 거부 효과는 문의해 확인할 수 있습니다.
제9조 (파기)
목적 달성·보유 기간 종료 시 법정 보관 대상 외 정보를 파기합니다. 앱에서 계정 및 개별 클라우드 항목을 삭제할 수 있습니다. 기기에 남긴 파일과 외부 플랫폼에 이미 게시한 콘텐츠는 별개이므로 해당 위치에서 삭제해야 합니다. 외부 처리자와 백업은 별도 삭제 주기를 가질 수 있어 모든 사본의 즉시 파기를 보장하지는 않습니다.
제10조 (이용자의 권리)
열람·정정·삭제·처리정지, 적용되는 범위의 이동·내보내기 및 동의 철회를 yocyo@yocyo.com으로 요청할 수 있습니다. 본인 확인 후 관계 법령의 기한에 따라 처리합니다. 철회는 향후 처리에 영향을 주며 외부 게시물이나 법정 보관 기록이 자동 삭제되는 것은 아닙니다.
제11조 (아동)
Brkit는 만 14세 미만을 대상으로 하지 않습니다. 필요한 법정대리인 동의 없이 개인정보가 수집된 경우 연락하면 해당 사항을 확인하고 관계 법령에 따라 삭제 등 조치합니다. 외부 AI 서비스에 더 높은 이용 연령이 적용되는 경우 해당 조건도 따라야 합니다.
제12조 (안전조치)
외부 서비스 통신에 암호화된 전송과 인증된 접근을 사용합니다. 현재 macOS 관련 로컬 인증 정보는 운영체제 보호 저장소를 사용하며, 서버 SNS 연결 토큰은 암호화합니다. 기기·계정·공유 링크를 안전하게 관리하십시오. 이러한 조치가 보안 사고의 가능성이 전혀 없음을 보장하는 것은 아닙니다.

제14조 (피해 구제)
관할 개인정보 감독·분쟁 해결 기관에 문의할 수 있습니다. 대한민국에서는 개인정보침해 신고센터와 개인정보분쟁조정위원회를 이용할 수 있습니다.
제15조 (변경·고지)
중대한 처리 변경은 시행 전 고지하며 법령상 필요한 동의는 별도로 받습니다. 2026년 10월 11일의 정정은 기존 처리 설명을 바로잡는 것이며 동의를 소급하여 발생시키지 않습니다.
제16조 (게시 위치)
현재 방침은 brkit.app/privacy 및 앱·사이트의 법적 고지 링크에서 확인할 수 있습니다.
